It's important to recognize the difference between sneaky information and good information. A good way to make money with ClickBank and become a successful affiliate marketer is to develop your own strategy. Sure, you're going to take a little from each book and blog you read, but once you have your own set of rules you will feel a lot more accomplished. It's almost like turning the TV off and getting work done or reading a book. Don't let the affiliate strategies of others take over your own, simply learn from them, take a little bit, and then move on.

How to Make Money with ClickBank

Making money with ClickBank can be done by 2 different methods. Either SEO (search engine Optimization) or PPC (Pay Per Click) Ads. Both of these require your time and attention. One of these requires your wallet to get started. That one is Pay Per Click ads via Google AdWords. Although I am very big on SEO, I will say AdWords works just as well so long as you can fund it. AdWords also works faster; SEO will take you a few months to start seeing some results.

Getting Your Objective Straight

The main objective of your affiliate marketing strategy should be only one thing - to help people find what they want. That's it. This is the only thing you need to remember to make money with ClickBank. If you are doing SEO than you must choose a product that is of interest to you because of the amount of content that you will need to write to promote it. However, if you are going the route of PPC that it is strictly a numbers game and there is no use in having an interest in your product. Either way, you want to make sure that the product you are promoting is good and has many testimonials. This will insure that your visitors will actually buy the product instead of passing up on it.

When it comes to making money with ClickBank I read a lot of books. It's not until recently till I found a method that actually works. The method consists of using both search engine optimization and Pay Per Click marketing.

Clickbank For Newbies - FREE GUIDE! 5 Hot Tips That Work

Thousands of affiliates have joined Clickbank and are earning an income on a regular basis. You should not hesitate in joining Clickbank if you want your business to take off! Although it sounds easy, let me tell you that it's not. There are a few things you need to know about which product is best to sell.

Below you will find a few tips which helped me when I first started out using Clickbank to make money.

Clickbank for Newbies #1
When selecting a product to sell, be sure to choose one that pays you at least fifty percent commission. Clickbank products payout anywhere from $12 to $28 to $99. I generally tend to use products that pay out over $20.

Clickbank for Newbies #2
Go to Google and search for a key phrase related to the product. If you find over 11 sponsored listings all selling the same thing the market is too saturated, or your key phrase is too general. Try and be a bit more specific. Use long tailed keywords, those are keywords with three or more words in them. For example instead of saying golf slice, say rather how to cure my golf slice

Clickbank for Newbies #3
Does the copy on the website make you want to buy the product? If it does then you may be onto a winner. If it's boring and turns you off it will do the same for your customers. Go back to Clickbank and see if there is another similar product but with better copy.

Clickbank for Newbies #4
Do they offer a money back guarantee? A great guarantee will boost sales. Also it lets you know that the seller has confidence that there will not be many returns. Also having a bonus never hurts either.

Clickbank for Newbies #5
Be sure to check a sales merchant's page for any sales leaks. Some merchants have a mix of 2checkout as well as Clickbank merchant processor on the same sales page. It is not good for you as a Clickbank affiliate. Sales that occurred by the payment processor not of Clickbank will result in a loss of commission for you.Don't let you hard marketing go to waste.

These five simple Clickbank tips can help you on your way to making money using Clickbank.

And I don't care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently. You me or nobody is going to hit as hard as life but, it ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep mooving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth but, you've got to be willing to take the hits! And not pointing fingers, saying you ain't where you want to be because of him,or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and, that ain't you! You're Better than that.

If you have been reading about affiliate marketing or making money with your blog, no doubt you have been introduced to ClickBank. According to them, "ClickBank is the online retail outlet for 10,000 digital product publishers and their 100,000 active affiliates. We've paid our clients on time, every time, for 10 years. Over $1 billion thus far. Now with weekly payouts!". If you haven't run across it yet, you will want to browse to their website and sign up as an affiliate as the commissions generally run 50%-75%.

You will be asked to pick a nickname and you should choose carefully because this name will appear in every link you create to promote their products. ClickBank is also handy if you have digital products to sell on your blog site. Let's say you are blogging about health & fitness and want to create and sell an e-book on the best way to stay fit and lose weight, you could use ClickBank to take care of the money part of the transaction and at the same time have affiliates sell it for you. You don't need a shopping cart or SSL certificate. Simply link your order button to ClickBank and provide a way for customers to download your book on a Thank You page. Their instructions are fairly straightforward.

Another thing you will want to do from the start if you are promoting ClickBank products is to use tracking IDs especially if you use various means of promotion (i.e. your blog, Google AdWords). That way you will know where your clicks or "hops" are coming from. You can use any ID you want as long as it is alphanumeric and 8 characters or less. The format is zzz.PUBID.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=xxxxxxxx where zzz is your ClickBank nickname, PUBID is the nickname that the publisher of the product has chosen and xxxxxxx is the tracking ID you have chosen. ClickBank does not need to know or approve your tracking IDs but if you get the format wrong, you will lose credit for the sales.

Once you start collecting commissions, you should be aware of their Customer Distribution Policy which reads, "ClickBank accounts cannot be used for the sole purpose of collecting rebates or otherwise extending credit to yourself or others. In compliance with US law, ClickBank will withhold payment of any account balance until the following criteria is met: Sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers and Sales made with two different payment methods (either Visa, MasterCard, or PayPal). Note: PayPal purchases do not count toward the minimum 5 different credit card numbers." This means that you will need several sales before the money you have earned will be paid to you.

If you have started using ClickBank to find products, you may find their search utility a bit frustrating. I suggest that you use a ClickBank tool like CBEngine.com or CBTrends.com They are both free but if you subscribe to the full version of CBEngine you get a lot more functionality and are able to bookmark various products into different file folders. I think the graphs in CBTrends are a little better though, so I use both--CBEngine to find new products and CBTrends to graph the products I'm interested in.

Internet Marketing Basics - Step by Step Guide For Newbies

Over $180,000,000,000 (180 billion) dollars are going to be spent online this year. Astonishing quantities of common people are diverting from their day job to Internet Marketing. A common trend seems to be floating around that "As soon as you setup a sale your hard life is over, you will now be generating cash on autopilot." Before you read this article, you need to understand what you are getting into. Let's draw a clear line between what we are hoping for, and the real deal.

I wish Internet Marketing was:

"After four days of working online I built a website and hit the first page of Google under multiple search phrases. My website gets thousands of visitors a day, and that traffic is quickly converts into sales. I'm making well over $1,500 a day, and money pours into my accounts while I sleep. I already purchased a superb vacation to a 5-star hotel to Hawaii. I am completely confident that my website will handle itself while I'm gone."

In reality, Internet Marketing is:

"After three months of staying up late, and working for countless hours, I have finally produced a $30 sale. I made a website, filled it with high-quality content, and then spent days trying to get traffic. I have wrote countless articles, joined several free traffic systems, and used many different forms of advertisement. My work is finally starting to pay off, as my website is now getting a decent amount of traffic. My efforts definitely did not pay off as fast as I hoped, and I am yet to receive the big check, but I can see the potential starting to build."

So, do you think you have what it takes to work for countless hours without seeing a penny in sight? 97% of "attempting" Internet Marketers will fail. The other 3% have an incredible amount of perseverance, and you also will require it. But be confident! You can do it, it just won't be easy. Ready to learn how? Okay, lets get started.

Affiliating

It is estimated that over $2,100,000,000 (2.1 billion) will be paid out to affiliates in 2010. This is where almost all newbies start. Affiliating means selling the product of someone else. That means you can start making money online without promoting your own service or merchandise. For this process, I highly recommend using ClickBank. ClickBank is a huge online marketplace where vendors have posted their products for affiliates to sell them. ClickBank works like this:

You sign up for a free account, and you now have the ability to create Hoplinks (more on this later).
You scan the marketplace for items you would like to sell. It is very important that you aim for products of a category that you already have expertise in (I will explain why later).
You see a product you would like to promote. You click "Create Hoplink" and enter your user-name. You may also enter a tracking ID but this is not currently important.
You get the Hoplink and promote it on a website. If a customer clicks on your Hoplink and buys the product, you get paid up to 75% (varies for each product) of the profit.
Sounds easy, right? Not exactly. I want you to think about how many times you have bought something online, but not from an official business (like Wal-Mart, eBay, etc.). You might have trouble remembering, because chances are it has not happened too many times.

That is because customers, or Net surfers, avoid sales pitches. They did not come on the internet to be lured into cash being pulled out of their pocket, they came for the information. When someone visits your website, do you think they are focusing on your wants, or needs? No. The only thing they are after is the information. They have this thought stuck in their head, "I searched for what I wanted on Google. If you do not have it, I'm hitting the back button and trying the next result." Web surfers simply don't care about you.

In essence, you must master the art of PRE-selling. Yes, not making money, or generating income, but PRE-selling. You absolutely must give the visitor what he/she wants before you even think about asking for a penny out of their stash. A lot of people who read this article will simply ignore this concept and still try to send their visitor through their Hoplink as soon as they get the chance. The truth is, even if your guest "accidentally" clicks on your link this way, they will feel 'pitched', and frustrated. The goal is to send your traffic through your Hoplink with a trusting, willing-to-buy feeling.

That being said, lets make a website, the right way. As far as hosting goes, you can build a sub-domain for free with Yola. For a real website, the lowest cost I found (about $20 a year) is at GoDaddy. The four steps to being a successful affiliate when creating a website are:

Brainstorm. What is the goal of your website? What do you want your visitors to learn while viewing it (even if they do not buy something)? Since you will have to add information to your website you must promote a product related to what you know. For example, lets say your hobby/sport is Tennis. You love Tennis. You make a theme-based content site all about Tennis, in which you share a lot of high-quality information. Then, you promote a product that helps people save energy at home. This makes no sense! It will only leave your visitors confused.
Content. Fill your website with content. Do not worry a single bit about selling a product, just explain to your future-traffic everything they need to know about your hobby (which should be the theme of your website).
Drive Traffic. There can be no online business without traffic. Find a way to drive visitors to your website. You could write articles for online directories, you post videos on YouTube, you could even pin ads on local telephone poles! Just do whatever works.
Warm up your visitors to make the purchase. This step is easy, because you most likely already fulfilled it with step 2. If you filled your website with high-quality, tip-top information, they will trust you. You will no longer be a stranger on the internet, but a friend with a recommendation (or Hoplink!).
Monetize. After you have done everything else, it is finally time to say "Hey, this is a great product." Do not be forceful, or act superior over them, just recommend it with multiple good reasons.
Congratulations! After these five steps, you will be on the right track to success online. Are you done? Definitely not. At this point just keep driving in more traffic.

Google AdSense

This is another simple method to make money online. Yes, I do recommend placing ads from Google on your website, but I still believe that affiliating should be your main source of income. Sign up for a free account with Google AdSense, make an ad, and post the html code onto your website. Do not place your ads anywhere to distracting, making it difficult for visitors to explore your content.

These will be your two best sources of income as a starting new Internet businessman. Internet Marketing builds amazingly well off the snowball effect, so the more you work, the faster you will see the results. Just keep at it, your hard efforts will pay off.
